4th Annual Midwestern Fraud and Scam Awareness Seminar/Expo.
Welcome Race Fans! Senior Education Ministries, Inc. Is proud to join with presenters and businesses from across the Midwest to present the danger, the drama, the roar of the engines and action packed excitement at our 4th Annual Fraud and Scam Awareness Seminar designed to honor, protect and serve our senior citizens.
Our annual seminar this year will take on a racing format designed to rev’ up your engines and get you in gear to protect yourselves. Grab your gloves, your headsock, helmet, and firesuit and get ready to race to the Superspeedway at the ISU Hulman Center on May 18, 2010 from 8am-4pm. The flagman will wave the green flag promptly at 9am and the pace car sponsor will signal the start of the event.

Free Parking will be available at the Crossroads Plaza Parking Garage (located between 6th and 7th street for Wabash entrance) and the ISU Parking Lots C, D, and G on 9th street near Chestnut St.

Turner Coaches is offering FREE transportation to/from these parking areas and to/from ISU Hulman Center. They will be making rounds ALL DAY every half hour picking up and returning anyone parking in these locations.


Transportation is available for Edgar and Clark County, IL residents’ courtesy of Chester P Sutton Community Center for Seniors of Edgar County by calling (217) 465-8143. West Terre Haute Residents can contact Maryvale Senior Apartments (812) 535-1242 for a ride to and from the event. Brazil residents can ride with the Clay County Senior Center by contacting them @ 812) 448-8848. Bethesda Gardens (812) 298-8209 will assist with transporting residents needing transportation assistance from the south side of town. If you need transportation and none of these options work for you, please contact Senior Education Ministries (1-877-223-6109) so they can see if other providers can be arranged to assist.


Free breakfast (8-9:15AM) will be served to the first 500 attendees’ compliments of Cobblestone Crossing Health Campus. Coffee will be served by the Kings Servant’s Chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association

This is a FREE event! There will be NO charge to spend a day at the races (attend the Fraud and Scam Awareness Seminar). Reservations are not needed. As always, this event to honor our seniors during Older American’s month will include FREE food (breakfast and lunch), door prizes, extraordinary performances as well as brilliant artwork courtesy of the Vigo School Corporation students. We hope to surpass last year’s attendance of 2200! Get in gear---A full day of education, fellowship, food, freebies and fun is in store! Don’t let this event, race by….Put your pedal to the metal ….
